It boasts diverse wildlife including Arabian oryx, sand gazelles, and mountain gazelles. Additionally, the reserve has reintroduced 38 native Arabian mammal and reptile species such as Arabian hares, sand foxes, Arabian red foxes, and Gordon's wildcats.
