What to expect
Begin your day by boarding the ship at 9:30 AM in Bataviahaven Lelystad. Enjoy a warm welcome from the crew and a cup of coffee or tea. Set sail at 10:00 AM and experience the thrill of sailing on the IJsselmeer.
At noon, savor a delicious lunch buffet on board. Arrive in Hoorn at 12:30 PM and enjoy 1.5 hours of free time to explore this charming harbor town. Wander through the historic streets, admire the old warehouses, and visit local attractions like the Waag, Westfries Museum, and the Museum of the Twentieth Century.
At 2:30 PM, set sail back to Lelystad. Enjoy a traditional Dutch snack platter on board. If the wind is favorable, you can help hoist the sails and actively participate in the sailing. Arrive back in Bataviahaven Lelystad around 5:30 PM, marking the end of a relaxing day of sailing on the IJsselmeer.

People with reduced mobility can usually still join the cruise. Even with a walking frame, it is generally possible to board the boat and enjoy the cruise. Please note, however, that the toilet is located below deck. It is accessible via a wide staircase with a sturdy handrail. If required, the crew will be happy to assist you in descending the stairs. Unfortunately, a wheelchair cannot be taken down the stairs, which means that wheelchair users are unable to use the toilet. In addition, the deckhouse has a high threshold; if you are in a wheelchair, you may need to be lifted over it.
