Beside the flowers, the Keukenhof also has exhibitions of special flowers with a new flower each week. Some examples of these themes are roses, orchids, and chrysanthemums.
Whilst at the site it is also possible to take a boat trip, which sees you sailing between thebollenvelden (bulb fields). These boat trips are referred to as fluistertochten (whisper trips), due to the boat's electric motors.
After the Keukenhof you will go to the Tulip Experience Amsterdam. That’s 10 minutes driving from the Keukenhof. At the Tulip Experience Amsterdam you will see the history of the tulip in their museum. After that you can go into the bulb fields with more then 1 millions tulips and 700 different kinds and make some nice pictures. At the end you can pluck your own tulips.
After the Tulip Experience your driver/host will bring you to the Zaanse Schans.
Zaanse Schans, a region of the Netherlands full of traditional structures. Tour the wooden dwellings, windmills, and quaint little shops. Above all, you can admire the traditional mills scattered throughout the town, each of which has its own purpose: there's a paint mill, oil mill, saw mill, spice mill, and more.
