Start your Haarlem experience at the city’s most iconic landmark: Windmill De Adriaan on the River Spaarne.
First, join a guided tour inside the windmill. Learn how this historic mill works, hear the stories behind it, and climb up to the top. On the balcony you’ll enjoy a 360° panoramic view over Haarlem—one of the best photo spots in the city. Take your time to soak it in and capture the perfect shots.
After the windmill visit, the next part starts right outside at the same location: your open-boat canal cruise. Step aboard a stylish, comfortable sloop with soft cushions. The boat is usually open for the best views.
As your 100% electric boat glides quietly through Haarlem’s canals and along the Spaarne, your captain shares local history and points out hidden gems, beautiful bridges, and centuries-old buildings. It’s a small-group, personal experience—feel free to ask questions along the way.
