What to expect
See Amsterdam the way locals do: from the water, on a silent electric boat with a live skipper who actually talks to you.
While the big tour boats stick to the wide main canals, our smaller Eco boat slips into the narrow side canals where everyday Amsterdam life happens; quiet courtyards, hidden bridges and centuries-old (dancing) houses you'll never see from the street.
Our live local skippers: Igor, Timon, Mike, John Paul, Mark and the rest of the team, are the reason guests keep coming back. They share fun facts, personal stories and the occasional (Dutch) joke, and can adapt the route to what your group enjoys.
While our skippers hold the tour in English, there are digital booklets for you to dowload on board, free via QR code.
With max 28 guests on board, cozy cushions and blankets when it's chilly, and an optional drinks package (wine, beer, soda), this feels less like a tourist attraction and more like a friend showing you their hometown.
Departing opposite Amsterdam Central Station; just look for the dark green beach flag and our team in dark blue 'Eco Boats' jackets.

Amsterdam’s weather—whether winter, spring, summer, or autumn—can be charmingly unpredictable. Sunshine, a breeze, and the occasional shower may all arrive in a single day. It’s part of the city’s charm! We recommend dressing appropriately and bringing sunscreen and a light rain jacket so you’re ready for whatever the day brings.
Depending on the weather, we cruise with an open or partly covered boat.
In line with local regulations, we don’t use microphones on board. If you’re having trouble hearing the skipper, kindly ask them to speak louder—they’ll be happy to help.
We encourage guests to travel by public transport. Our departure point is in front of Central Station.
