Limited-time collaboration to launch an ocean exploration journey
Six members of the Sanrio family have landed at Ocean Park Hong Kong! They are none other than the beloved Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kuromi, Pompompurin, and Hangyodon! This group of friends has boarded a submarine, so join them on an unexpected "Azure Ocean Journey"!
Upon arriving at the Seaside Park Plaza, first choose your favorite look and equipment for your representative character. The marine animal ambassadors – dolphins, gargoyles, and sharks – will guide you through an underwater tunnel of light and shadow, leading you to the legendary underwater town with other Sanrio family members. However, you'll discover it's facing an energy crisis! Help find the rainbow pearl oyster of the Ocean Kingdom and restore its vibrant beauty to this underwater world! After completing the mission, remember to take a commemorative photo with your Sanrio family members!
To celebrate My Melody's 50th anniversary and Kuromi's 20th anniversary, these two best friends will be opening their private, sweet and cool makeup rooms at Summit Park, inviting you and your besties to instantly enter a colorful Y2K-style world! Here, you'll find surprise easter eggs featuring the two ever-changing characters – a must-see for fans with a girlish heart! You can also show off your dance skills on the dance machine, or happily take photos in the dreamy party room, experiencing the sweet and playful charm of My Melody and Kuromi!
Dear fans, remember to grab your Sanrio Family Adventure Card Blind Pack* and explore the 20 character-themed interactive installations throughout the park. Trigger special light, shadow, and sound effects at any time—a magical experience awaits you! Pompompurin, who topped the Sanrio character rankings this year, is about to celebrate his 30th anniversary. This laid-back, playful character will be throwing a secret garden party in early 2026! Ocean Park Hong Kong, located on the south side of Hong Kong Island, is one of the world's most popular theme parks. It covers 170 acres and its buildings are distributed on Nam Long Shan and Wong Chuk Hang Valley.
Ocean Park is divided into two areas: the Summit and the Waterfront, featuring eight different themed areas, including Asian Animals, Aqua City, Whiskers, Rainforest, Adventure Park, Ocean Park, Rapids Park and Polar Adventure.
Peak Paradise
△ Primarily an amusement park carnival, it's more suitable for thrill-seeking adults. Whether it's the roller coasters, swing boats, and drop towers in "Ocean World," or the wave-riding ships, mine trains, and roller coasters in "Rapid River World" and "Dynamic World," they're sure to get your heart racing and make you scream.
Asian Animals World
△ This park boasts one of the world's leading indoor and outdoor exhibits, showcasing a variety of animals from different regions of Asia. The Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Rare Animals Pavilion – formerly the Hong Kong Jockey Club Giant Panda Park, opened in 1999, becoming the home of giant pandas An An and Jia Jia. In 2012, it was converted into the Hong Kong Jockey Club Sichuan Rare Animals Pavilion, and joined by two protected animals from Sichuan, Sichuan golden monkeys Le Le and Hu Hu.
Jellyfish Kaleidoscope
△ It opened on April 10, 2006, and is the largest independent jellyfish aquarium in Asia.
Dream Water City
△ Ocean Wonders – Ranked among the world's top ten aquariums, and the 9th largest aquarium globally. It features a 5.5-meter diameter viewing dome, allowing visitors to explore the underwater world. Visitors can also reach a giant viewing screen, 8 meters high and 13 meters wide, to see all the fish in the aquarium at once. The Twin Dragons, located in an artificial lake, is the world's first 360-degree panoramic water screen. The fountains use numerous vertical jets to create a massive water curtain, with water and fire fountains located outside the curtain.
Main modes of transportation within the park
1. Mountain Cable Car: The mountain cable car connects the upper and lower parts of the mountain via a 1.5-kilometer-long overhead steel cable, allowing passengers to enjoy the expansive views of the Southern District of Hong Kong Island and the South China Sea along the way.
2. Elevator: Opened in 1987, the escalator connects Nam Long Shan (Ocean World) and Tai Shu Wan (Rapid Sea World). With a total length of 225 meters, it is the second longest outdoor escalator system in the world. The escalator is unaffected by weather.
3. Ocean Express: Welcome aboard Ocean Park's Ocean Express for a thrilling deep-sea adventure, speeding between the Peak Park on the mountain and the Seaside Park at the foot of the mountain.
