What to expect
Explore the 15th Century Casa de Pilatos and marvel at the impressive sculptures, tiles, and architecture created by the Enríquez de Ribera family. Walk around the drawing rooms, courtyards, and gardens, and see how it became the biggest private residence in Seville at the time.
Enter the palace through the detailed Renaissance-style marble gate. Admire the 24 busts of Roman emperors and the fountains in the typical Andalusian courtyard. See busts of Emperor Hadrian, Aphrodite, and Apollo, the god of music, poetry, and art.
View the war ornaments of Pallas Pacifera, including a shield and helmet carved from stone. Visit the Chapel of Flagellation, the oldest part of the palace with an ornate basket-handle arch and the crossover between Christian and Islamic styles with Mudejar-Gothic and Renaissance architecture.
