Discover the Barranco de Masca, one of the most breathtaking landscapes in Tenerife. Experience the thrill of walking a unique trail surrounded by volcanic formations and spectacular views of the Los Gigantes cliffs.
Begin your 5-kilometer descent from the traditional hamlet of Masca, crossing challenging terrain full of natural contrasts until you reach a cove hidden beneath the 1,480-foot cliffs, a place that few visitors reach.
The adventure continues with a cruise tour from the cove to the Los Gigantes Cruise Port, where you can enjoy unique views of the coastline and cliffs. The combination of challenging trekking and leisurely sailing offers a complete experience that's different from other routes on the island.
This activity includes pick-up in Santiago del Teide, transport to the start of the trail, a certified local guide, admission to the ravine, and a cruise tour. The total duration is 5–6 hours, and all the information and gear necessary for a safe and enjoyable experience are provided.
Ideal for lovers of nature, photography, and adventure who are looking for a complete experience in Tenerife. The route is of medium difficulty, and suitable trekking shoes are mandatory, as admission to the ravine may not be permitted without them.
Meeting time and location: Santiago del Teide, coach stop, next to Plaza del Santiago del Teide. It's advisable to arrive a bit in advance. The recommended parking area is at the Santiago del Teide Cemetery (a 9-minute walk from the meeting point).
Duration: Trekking: 3.5 hours. Cruise tour: approximately 20 minutes. Full activity with transfers: approx. 5–6 hours.
Difficulty: Medium (trekking experience is recommended).

Terms & conditions
It is ESSENTIAL that you provide the full name and ID document or passport number of each participant on your booking. Without this information, we will not be able to issue the mandatory permits for admission to the ravine.
Children under 8 years of age are not permitted.
In case of failure to comply with the necessary rules, admission will be denied and no refund will be provided (footwear must be suitable for mountain hiking and have a good tread pattern on the sole).
Changes and cancellations:
- Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the activity.
- In case of closure of the ravine for reasons beyond our control (adverse weather or other reasons). If the closure occurs:
- In the days prior to the activity, we will contact you as soon as possible to propose an alternate date or a refund.
- On the day of the activity, the excursion will take place, and we will do an alternative trekking route. In this case, the services not used will be refunded: admission ticket to the Ravine, ground transportation, and boat ticket.
