What to expect
Step into an underground world and discover what lies beneath the Lobos River Canyon—one of Soria’s most impressive natural areas. On this beginner-friendly caving tour in Galiana Cave, you’ll explore a series of fascinating chambers filled with natural formations shaped over time.
Meet at the parking lot of the Lobos River Canyon Interpretive Center in Ucero and get ready to gear up. You’ll be provided with essential safety equipment, including a helmet and headlamp, and you’ll be accompanied by a certified guide throughout the activity. The route is designed as an introduction to caving, making it a great choice if it’s your first time going underground or if you want a manageable adventure without needing prior experience.
Inside the cave, follow your guide through different chambers—such as the Dormitory Chamber, the Lake Chamber, and the Gours Chamber—where you’ll see stalactites, stalagmites, columns, and other striking rock formations. Along the way, your guide will help you move confidently and safely through the passages while you take in the atmosphere of the cave.
After around 2 to 2.5 hours underground, you’ll return to the meeting point with a new perspective on the landscape of the Natural Park—this time from the inside out.
