What to expect
Enjoy a half-day tour in the heart of the Madonie Park, among nature, history, and authentic flavors. The experience starts at the Cefalù train station, from where you'll depart with dedicated vehicles to the Sanctuary of Gibilmanna, an important Benedictine place of worship located 800 meters above sea level. Here you can enjoy a walking tour and breathtaking views of the Madonie.
You'll continue to the picturesque medieval village of Castelbuono, famous for its Ventimiglia Castle and lively cultural scene. On foot, you'll visit the castle and the beautiful Chapel of Sant'Anna, the town's patron saint. The walk continues with the Church of Maria Santissima Assunta, built on the columns of an ancient pagan temple.
The gourmet stop is at the renowned Fiasconaro pastry shop, where you can taste the famous handmade panettone for free. You'll head back to Cefalù along the scenic coastal road, leaving you with unforgettable memories of Sicilian history, culture, and gastronomy.
