What to expect
Get an in-depth introduction to key World War II battlefields and historic locations during this historian-led small tour in Cassino.
Meet your guide at the train station of Cassino and cross Cassino new Town. Reach Trocchio Hill, to have a wonderful general view on the battlefield, then stop next to the famous Rapido River, pay out respect to the local memorials and reach the Commonwealth War Cemetery of Cassino.
At the end of the tour, visit the Abbey of Monte Cassino from a WW2 point of view, and come back to Cassinothe Railway Station
