What to expect
E-bike tour around Lake Viverone, located in the town of the same name. As you pass through the vineyards and by the castles of the Canavese region, you will rediscover the beauty of nature.
Your tour will start in Caravino, a small village very close to Masino, a town famous for its castle, which you will be able to admire from the outside.
Next, you will follow trails through the surrounding woods to discover the Pera Cunca, an ancient ritual stone dating back to the earliest human settlements in the area.
As you emerge from the woods, you will finally see Lake Viverone, a popular destination, especially during the summer season. The lake is particularly famous for its ancient stilt houses, which provide evidence of human habitation in this area as far back as 10,000 years ago.
On the way back, we will stop at a local winery, where you can sample traditional local products and taste their wines.
You will be accompanied by a cycling tour guide.
Medium-to-easy route, 22.3 miles (36 km) in length, with 1,574 feet (470 meters) of elevation gain.
