What to expect
Your Turin concept-tour kicks off in one of the city's most elegant squares. There, you'll meet your guide, who'll take you on a journey to discover the city's main culinary, oenological, artistic, and design innovations. Don't worry, the Roman and Baroque heritage of the historic center won't be overlooked! As you move around, your guide will help you discover the main cultural attractions of Italy's first capital.
A small welcome treat will let you discover the local chocolate tradition. After a brief introduction to the main lifestyle habits of the locals, you'll head towards the famous "contrada dei guardinfanti", discovering installations hidden in the urban landscape, to reach our first stop where you'll experience a conceptual and innovative version of the famous Piedmontese appetizers. You'll try some of the most common local culinary preparations, such as anchovies in green sauce, Russian salad, or fassone beef tartare, but in a creative and innovative version developed by a young chef.
At the end of this culinary break, the tour turns to the world of art so you can discover some of the city's many art galleries, famous both for their antiquities and, above all, for contemporary art, and you'll discover the origin of some important city events related to art.
From here, you'll head back to the baroque area of the city center to visit an innovative concept store that brings Turin back to the days when the city was the Italian Capital of Fashion. Here, while enjoying a glass of wine chosen from Piedmont's great oenological products, you'll discover Turin's role in the world of fashion and design. You'll also learn how the elegance of the past is making a comeback thanks to innovations that blend the appeal of local wines with a truly unique range of clothing and accessories.
Finally, walking along the street that hosts the largest number of art galleries, we'll reach our last stop that enhances the great tradition of Turin design by exploring the unique story of a local designer who, from the automotive world, has become one of the most innovative producers of extraordinarily creative eyewear, entirely designed and produced in Turin and Piedmont.
