The day kicks off comfortably from Bologna, Milan, or Florence with an Italo high-speed train in first class to Reggio Emilia AV station. Upon arrival, a driver will be waiting for you just outside the station to accompany you on a shared transfer with a private vehicle, to discover the Emilian countryside where some of the symbolic products of Made in Italy are born.
The first stop is a Parmigiano Reggiano dairy, where you can watch the artisanal production of one of the world's most beloved cheeses. Among fragrant aging rooms and large golden wheels, you'll discover the secrets of a thousand-year-old tradition and end your visit with a guided tasting of different aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheeses.
Next up is a visit to a Parma ham factory, nestled in the hills where the unique microclimate makes it possible to create the famous Prosciutto Crudo di Parma PDO. During the tour, your guide will explain the processing and aging methods that give life to a product with an unmistakable sweetness. Here, too, there will be a tasty tasting to savor the quality of this iconic cured meat.
At the end of the experience, the transfer will take you back comfortably to the station in Reggio Emilia, from where you will take the train to Bologna, Milan or Florence with the memory of an intense and delicious day.
