About this experience

Pulau Tidung is one of the most iconic destinations in the Southern Thousand Islands, famous for its picturesque Love Bridge (Jembatan Cinta), crystal-clear snorkelling waters, and the unique whale skeleton exhibit. On this 2-day 1-night open trip with Go Explore Indonesia, travellers enjoy a full island experience including beach time, cycling, snorkelling and a fish barbecue.

Day 1 departs from Kaliadem Pier (Muara Angke) or Marina Ancol and arrives in Tidung for lunch and check-in. The afternoon takes you cycling to the Love Bridge, guided snorkelling in Tidung Kecil waters, and beach time near the bridge. The evening features a sunset hunt on the western beach followed by a fish barbecue dinner.

Day 2 opens with a sunrise hunt at the Love Bridge, a post-breakfast cycle around the island, and checkout before the return ferry. All-inclusive: round-trip ferry tickets, 3 meals, 1 night in an AC homestay, bicycles, snorkelling equipment and underwater documentation.

What to expect

Things to note

• A valid national ID (KTP) is mandatory; this tour is available to Indonesian nationals only
• Bring a swimsuit, towel, sandals and quick-dry clothing for snorkelling and beach activities
• Departures on Saturdays only — please plan your travel to the departure pier accordingly
• Homestay does not provide bathroom amenities — bring your own personal toiletries, a towel and extension cord for charging devices
• Bring high-SPF sunscreen, a hat or head covering and a reusable water bottle — you will spend significant time outdoors under direct sunlight

Bookings must be confirmed at least 2 days before the trip date
Once confirmed, bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded; rescheduling is permitted once with at least 2–3 days' prior notice
Homestay rooms are separated by gender; room upgrade (private 1 room: IDR 450,000 or 2-room: IDR 600,000) is available
Children aged 2 years and above are charged the full ticket price
