About this experience

Experience the very best of Pulau Pari — a picturesque island in the Southern Thousand Islands — on this 2-day 1-night open trip with Go Explore Indonesia. Solo travellers can join and the trip caters to diverse interests: beach relaxation, mangrove exploration, island cycling, snorkelling and a fish barbecue evening.

Day 1 departs from either Kaliadem Pier (Muara Angke) or Marina Ancol Pier, arriving in Pari for lunch and check-in. The afternoon heads out by boat to the snorkelling spot, then cycles across the island to Pasir Perawan Beach for sunset. The evening is spent with a fish barbecue on the beach under the stars.

Day 2 begins with a sunrise hunt at the Pari Pier, breakfast, a final cycle around the island to Pasir Perawan Beach, and packing up for the return ferry. Round-trip ferry tickets, 3 meals, 1 night in an AC homestay, snorkelling gear, bicycle use and underwater documentation are all included.

What to expect

Things to note

• Bring high-SPF sunscreen, a hat or head covering and a reusable water bottle — you will spend significant time outdoors under direct sunlight
• Bring a swimsuit, towel, sandals and quick-dry clothing for snorkelling and beach activities
• Homestay does not provide bathroom amenities — bring your own personal toiletries, a towel and extension cord for charging devices
• Departures on Saturdays only — please plan your travel to the departure pier accordingly
• A valid national ID (KTP) is mandatory; this tour is available to Indonesian nationals only

A valid national ID (KTP) is mandatory; this tour is available to Indonesian nationals (Wisatawan Nusantara) only
Bookings must be confirmed at least 2 days before the trip date
Once confirmed, bookings cannot be cancelled or refunded; rescheduling is permitted once with at least 2–3 days' prior notice
Homestay rooms are separated by gender; room upgrade (private 1 room: IDR 450,000 or 2-room: IDR 800,000) is available
Children aged 2 years and above are charged the full ticket price
Go Explore Indonesia reserves the right to cancel or modify the trip due to force majeure; in such cases all payments will be refunded
