What to expect
Discover the charm of sailing by participating in an authentic experience in the heart of the Gulf of Naples. Aboard Vanilla Blues, a 16-meter sailboat, you'll learn the basics of sailing in a relaxed and engaging atmosphere.
After a short briefing on safety and the principles of sailing, we'll set sail from the port of Mergellina for a scenic sail. The skipper will guide you step by step: maneuvering the sails, reading the wind, steering, and coordinating the crew's movements. You can actively participate in the maneuvers or, if you prefer, observe and enjoy the view.
While sailing, you'll get to admire the spectacular views of Vesuvius, Castel dell'Ovo, and the Posillipo coast. Halfway through, we'll stop at anchor for an on-board aperitif with local products and a glass of wine or spritz, accompanied by the sound of the sea and, sometimes, a little live music.
You'll return to the starting point after about 2.5 hours of sea, wind, and conviviality. It's also a perfect activity for absolute beginners, curious couples, or groups of friends who want to experience the sea in an active but relaxed way.
You'll board and disembark at the Port of Mergellina, which is easily accessible by public transport or taxi. The experience is subject to weather conditions, to ensure comfort and safety on board.
