We ascend the slopes of the giant that changed history. To give you the ultimate personalized experience, you get to choose how to explore the volcano:
Option 1: The original Crater & the Valley of Hell Trail – Accompanied by an expert speleologist, you will trek through rugged volcanic landscapes and explore hidden lava caves formed by past eruptions.
A highlight of this experience is the visit to the ancient Valle dell’Inferno, part of the old volcanic structure associated with the eruption of AD 79 that buried Pompeii and Herculaneum. This unique route offers a fascinating journey through the geological and historical origins of Mount Vesuvius, away from the most crowded tourist paths.
