What to expect
All-inclusive, with no extra costs to be paid on site. The tour includes transfers, an off-road route, and an easy walk on the lateral craters of the 2002 eruption, the largest eruption in recent years, all accompanied by a volcanological guide. You will also be able to enjoy a tasting of Etna spirits. Start a fantastic adventure by departing directly from your hotel (or a convenient meeting point) with our minivan/jeep pick-up service. On the way to Etna Nord, our guide will already share with you a lot of information and curiosities about Mount Etna and the surrounding areas. Once you arrive at the Etna Nord station (5909 ft), you will have the opportunity for a short stop before continuing the ascent to the summit area. You will travel along an off-road path on a 4x4 bus that will take you up to an altitude of 9514 ft. From there, you will continue the hike on foot under the supervision of our Volcanology Guide. Upon returning from the craters, and before the return journey, you can enjoy a tasting of local spirits.
