Dating back to the Middle Ages, this remarkable craft has been passed down through generations, with each master glassblower refining a distinctive and personal style. During your visit, you’ll witness a live glassblowing demonstration and discover the secrets behind this fascinating art. Learn how to distinguish between different artisans and brands, and gain insight into what makes each piece truly unique.
Next, cruise over to the vibrant island of Burano, famous for its colorful houses and intricate lace-making. With its cheerful atmosphere and timeless charm, Burano is a feast for the senses. Stroll through its quaint streets and canals, and take in postcard-perfect views of landmarks such as the leaning bell tower and the lively Piazza Baldassarre Galuppi — named after the famed 18th-century Venetian composer.
