What to expect
Enjoy an authentic experience on our family farm and discover the world of the Bronte Pistachio through a unique route that will take you from the early stages of plant growth to a food tasting of the finished products.
The visit takes place in our nursery, where we produce pistachio plants and where you can closely observe the different stages of their growth. We will tell you how a plant is born, the grafting techniques, and the care needed to transform it, over the years, into a productive tree.
We will then continue through our pistachio groves on the slopes of Etna, immersed in a unique landscape characterized by lava soil and the agricultural tradition that has accompanied the cultivation of pistachios for generations.
During the walk, you will discover the history of the Bronte Pistachio, the particularities of this crop, and the harvesting techniques handed down over time.
There will be no shortage of interesting facts, family stories, and the opportunity to take a souvenir photo with our Giant Pistachio, the symbol of the farm.
The experience will end with a food tasting of artisanal pistachio specialties, so you can savor the result of work that starts with the production of the plants and goes all the way to the processing of the product.
Before leaving, you will have the opportunity to purchase our products and take home an authentic piece of Bronte and its tradition.
