What to expect
Immerse yourself in the authentic flavors of Tuscany with a guided tasting and optional tour at an organic farm in Casale Marittimo, nestled in the rolling hills just minutes away from the coast. This activity is perfect for anyone interested in natural wines and authentic local produce, with the option to explore the farm’s grounds and learn about its organic practices.
If you choose the guided tour option, your host will start the activity by leading you through the vineyards and olive groves, sharing insights into the farm’s sustainable methods and the daily life of a working Tuscan estate. You’ll see where the grapes and olives are grown, learn about the harvest, and discover the unique features of the landscape. You will then visit the wine cellar, with a particular focus on the barrel room, where, among barriques, amphorae, and the scent of wine, you can also admire part of the Razza Umana project, conceived by Oliviero Toscani in 2007.
If you select the wine tasting option, upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by your host and introduced to the farm’s story, from its founding in the late 1960s to its present-day organic practices.
As you settle in, you’ll sample the farm organic wines: 2 organic reds and 1 lively organic rosé (pet-nat style) for the tasting option.
If the farm tour option is selected, you will be offered 5 wines to taste, 3 reds, 1 white, and 1 ancestral method rosé.
With each glass, your host will share the technical details, the inspiration behind the wine, and the meaning of each label, making the tasting both informative and personal.
You will then be offered the farm’s organic EVO, pressed from the fruit of 4,000 olive trees.
The experience concludes at the farm, leaving you free to explore the area further or simply relax and take in the scenery.

If you select the farm tour option, note that you will need to use your car to reach the different parts of the vineyard. The parts to reach are very close, approximately 5 minutes away from each other.
