Visit the historical Spanish cities of Salamanca and Ávila on a guided tour that reveals the legends of these magnificent places. In Salamanca, you can explore the impressive `Plaza Mayor´ and the enormous New Cathedral, while in Ávila you can stroll the charming avenues of this walled city. We will start the tour leaving Madrid on the way to Salamanca. Once there, you will have the opportunity to discover its patrimonial legacy with its innumerable corners and details. We will start in the center of the city, where our tour leader will begin with his explanation. The tour includes the history and curiosities of the University of Salamanca, which was of great importance in the history of Spain. We will also visit the `Cielo de Salamanca´ and you will be able to see the interior of the Cathedral. We will finish in the surroundings of the Plaza Mayor, which is characterized by its impressive baroque ornaments with details. This very popular area is an iconic gathering area with many restaurants, ice cream stalls, and shops to visit. It is the perfect balance between culture, history, and social life. Here you will have time to taste its fantastic gastronomy and savor its iconic `Tapas´! Then, with a full stomach, we will leave for Ávila. Once in the quintessential medieval city of Castilla y León, the tour will begin with a view of the walls of Ávila, and we will pass by the San Vicente Sanctuary and the Cathedral. We will learn about the history of this unique city as we stroll through ancient alleyways and admire impressive Romanesque churches such as the Ávila Cathedral and the San Vicente Basilica. In addition, you will make a stop at the `Mirador de Los Cuatro Postes´ to take beautiful photographs of the city and its wall.
