What to expect
Enter through the palace gates into the private gardens before being guided through a series of lavishly decorated state rooms. Pause before masterworks by Goya, including intimate portraits of the Duchess of Alba, as well as canvases by Flemish and Italian masters. Your guide will contextualise the art within the story of the Alba family and Spain's broader history. The visit concludes in the garden, where the restored neoclassical exterior can be fully appreciated.
