What to expect
The Urban Parasol is located in the flesh square. It was built in 2011. This building that looks like a parasol and a mushroom is called "the parasol of the flesh square" by the locals. The Urban Parasol, designed by the well-known German architect Jürgen Mayer, is about 26 meters high and is said to be the largest wooden structure in the world. It has become a new geographical landmark in Seville. The Urban Parasol has four floors. The subterranean level exhibits Roman and Moorish ruins found here. The first floor is the central market, and the second and third floors are viewing terraces. You can buy tickets to visit the top floor and enjoy the beauty of Seville at sunset.
