What to expect
In 1974, the master painter Salvador Dalí founded the world-famous Dalí Museum in his hometown of Figueres, which has become a attraction for art lovers around the world and is one of the most visited museums in Spain. The Theater Museum is also called the "Museum of Memory", and Dalí himself called it the "world of surrealism", which houses Dalí's countless works at various stages of creation, such as "Wall Clock", "The Phantom of Venus", "Naruto". The Metamorphosis of Heathers, The Persistence of Memory, etc. In addition to paintings, the museum also displays sculptures, jewelry, and furniture designed by Dalí. The design of the museum was completed by Dalí himself, and the audience is always attracted by the unexpected whimsy. The more famous one is the giant egg standing or falling on the roof of the museum. The use of eggs to represent life and change is a common image in Dali's works. There is also a showroom where several pieces are arranged to resemble the face of American sexy actress Mae West. Dalí died in 1989 and was buried in the basement of the museum's center.
