What to expect
The salt mine was mined in 1517, and the rock salt was made by washing the dissolved salt with pipes and transporting it to Bad Reichenhall, and then refining it. It takes about 1.5 hours to visit the salt mine. First, you need to put on the tour clothes, and then take the pulley down to the depth of 34 meters. The tunnel is about 600 meters long. In addition to visiting and watching the explanatory video, you can also take a sightseeing boat to cross the underground lake.
