What to expect
The Natural History Museum in Berlin is the largest natural history museum in Germany, with more than 300,000 exhibits. The exhibits directly and vividly show the evolution of life and the diversity of nature, and the beauty of nature displayed is shocking. Formerly part of Humboldt University, the museum has a long history and was originally opened in 1889, covering geology, paleontology, mineralogy, petrology and zoology, as well as a research institution. Rebuilt after being destroyed during World War II, after more than a decade of planning, it reopened while still undergoing ongoing maintenance. As soon as you enter the hall, you can see a huge dinosaur fossil skeleton standing in the atrium. This dinosaur fossil is well preserved and is a well-known exhibit in the museum, which is amazing.
