What to expect
The Green Vault Treasure Museum, located in the old town of Dresden, can be called the treasure museum in Europe. It was built by August II in 1723. In addition to the typical Baroque style used in the building, what is amazing is the amount stored in this treasure trove, rich in exhibits from the Baroque to Classicism periods. The treasure hall is divided into the old hall (1st floor) and the new hall (2nd floor), a total of 2000 square meters. Among them, the old museum is divided into 10 themed halls with about 3,000 collections. It collects masterpieces of jewelry and gold jewelry processing art, as well as treasures made of amber and ivory, gemstone utensils and highly artistic bronze statues.
