What to expect
The Feuerle Collection is a contemporary art museum located in Berlin, Germany, which was converted from a communications fortress during World War II. Designed by British architect John Pawson, the museum displays works by international contemporary artists such as Cristina Iglesias, Anish Kapoor and Zeng Fenzhi, as well as Chinese imperial furniture and Southeast Asian art.
The founder of the museum is Desiré Feuerle, whose founding purpose is to create a "total art" (Gesamtkunstwerk), aiming to break the boundaries of traditional art exhibitions and experience the impact of art on the soul through sensory perception. The artworks in the museum no longer carry any artificial labels, but directly communicate with the viewers, creating a spiritual world space, integrating ancient and contemporary artworks, and experiencing a brand new artistic experience.
In addition, the museum also offers activities such as traditional sound performances and incense burning experiences to further enrich the visitor experience.
