What to expect
The Zelzlienhof Palace was built in a new garden that stretches out on the lake. It is better to call it an English mansion than a palace. The last Prince William of the Horn Soleil family and his family lived here, and the palace was named after the princess - Cecilien. It is famous for the Potsdam Conference from July 17th to August 2nd, 1945. Before the end of World War II, the leaders of the United States, Britain, and the former Soviet Union held talks here to discuss the post-war treatment of Germany and the countermeasures for Japan to surrender. The conference room is now preserved as it is for tourists to visit. There are also lounges for representatives of various countries, which can also be visited. (Indoor photography is not allowed) The entire palace has 5 inner courtyards with a total of 176 halls.
