What to expect
The Neues Museum in Berlin, located on Museum Island in Berlin, Germany, was founded in 1841 by Friedrich August Stiller. In 1855, the Berlin Neues Museum was completed and opened, because there was already an old Berlin Museum opened in 1830 on the Museum Island at that time, so it was named the Berlin Neues Museum. In 1999, the Museum Island, where the Neues Museum in Berlin is located, was named a World Heritage Site. The museum mainly displays collections and artworks of ancient Egypt and human prehistoric and early historical civilizations, represented as the bust of Queen Nefertiti of Egypt.
