What to expect

This stadium was built for the 1936 Olympic Games, and was used for football, track and field and other sports events since the Olympics. In July 2006, the match between Italy and France at the World Cup was held here. The Olympic Stadium, which has completed a four-year, €290 million renovation, has now been transformed into a high-tech stadium with new comfortable VIP boxes and multi-million-euro audio, Lighting equipment and projection systems. A very important improvement is the new oval canopy - a spider web-like structure made of glass, steel and fiberglass that not only beautifies the stadium in appearance, but also proudly puts 74,400 seats in almost All covered.
