What to expect
The Household Cavalry Museum is a living museum showcasing the real work, history and traditions of the British cavalry, as well as the glory of the British cavalry in combat, predecessors and modern roles. The museum presents costumes and accessories of the Royal Cavalry. Visitors can see English cavalry at work in a mid-18th-century stable, the preparations of the guards, and get first-hand accounts of their rigorous training through video and interactive displays. Many of the exhibits are on display for the first time to the general public.
