The spectacular glass-walled Shard Building is the first heavyweight building to be completed in central London in the "post-Olympic era". The glass curtain wall with a total area of 8 football fields is splendid under the shadow of the Thames. It is worth mentioning that the top of the building is not closed but is open and staggered. From a distance, it looks as if several huge glass fragments are supported by each other.

△ The Shard is divided into five parts from bottom to roof, namely office building, high-end restaurant, Shangri-La Hotel, super high-rise residential area and high-level sightseeing hall. The reasonable layout makes every part of the building fully utilized.
