This winter, Kensington Palace's Queen Victoria's rooms will be freshly decorated with a charming seaside theme, recreating the magic and warmth of the future queen's childhood Christmas by the sea. Visitors can explore these classic family scenes at the palace.
The celebration activity took place in the charming seaside town of Ramsgate, Kent, commemorating the 190th anniversary of the young princess's unforgettable seaside holiday. This magical festive exhibition, set in the historic rooms of Kensington Palace where Princess Victoria spent her childhood, recreates the warm atmosphere of her family's seaside celebrations. The display features sparkling decorations, Victorian-era gifts, and excerpts from the princess's private diary.

For families looking to capture the perfect holiday photos, a three-dimensional illustrated seaside cave scene will be set up in the Stone Hall, recreating the magical experience of Princess Victoria's seaside journey, making it a royal destination to preserve festive memories.
After admiring the palace's exquisite decorations and marveling at its grandeur, visitors can continue their tour. Throughout December, you can enjoy a festive-themed afternoon tea in the Orangery, inspired by Princess Victoria's Christmas traditions. In addition to the palace's stunning decorations, the gift shop is filled with a delightful array of charming souvenirs, making it the perfect place for royal history enthusiasts to find their ideal Christmas gifts.

The Victoria Waterfront Christmas admission ticket is included with the palace ticket, allowing visitors to explore Christmas-themed decorations and learn about the palace's broader history.

Kensington Palace (Kensington PalaceLocated on the west side of Kensington Gardens, it was the former residence of Princess Diana. To this day, people still lay flowers at the palace gates in her memory.
The State Apartments are partially open to the public, featuring the room where Queen Victoria was baptized and an exhibition of royal court attire from 1760 to the present. Free audio guide devices are provided, with detailed explanations for each room. The impressive Royal Dress Collection showcases remarkable pieces, including Queen Mary's wedding dress, Queen Elizabeth II's casual wear and formal gowns, along with many exquisite accessories.
Additionally, the King's Gallery (King's GalleryThe exquisite 17th-century paintings inside are also a highlight of the visit. After the birth of the third in line to the British throne, Prince William and Princess Kate moved here.
