Choco Story Colmar is located in the heart of Colmar. Since its establishment in 2010, it has been dedicated to showcasing the rich history and culture of chocolate to visitors. The museum houses over 500 artifacts representing key milestones in chocolate's evolution—from ornately decorated jicara containers and sugar hammers to traditional metate grinding stones—offering visitors a captivating journey through 5,000 years of chocolate's transformation from cocoa bean to delectable treat.
This space features a 1,200-square-meter interactive area with 30 activities, experiences, and interactive terminals waiting to be explored. Test your chocolate knowledge through interactive terminals, identify aromas, play games, or take on challenges. You can also visit the chocolate factory, watch live demonstrations, and learn every step of the chocolate-making process.
The museum's exquisite atmosphere design, paired with clever sound effects, transports you into a magical world of chocolate. During your visit, you'll not only enjoy a visual feast but also get to indulge in chocolate tasting sessions, immersing your taste buds in rich, decadent flavors.
