What to expect
Lyon is a very new and large museum, which took 7 years to build and opened on December 20, 2014. The building is modern and designed by Blue Sky Group. Architecture does not define itself as an exclusive sanctuary for middle-class intellectuals, but as a public space that provides access to the knowledge of our time. It mainly exhibits collections related to nature, history, culture and anthropology, combining the local characteristics of Lyon and also including the world heritage. Its exhibition contains four themes, the origin of human beings, human society, taxidermy, and the rummy.
