What to expect
The permanent exhibition of the Great War Museum consists of thousands of objects, works and documents, some of which are carefully preserved in warehouses. From posters to soldiers' and officers' uniforms; from drawings to trench crafts; from weapons to everyday objects; from letters to photographs, the Museum has one of the richest collections of the First World War in Europe. Through history, ethnography, military artefacts and art, you will gain a clear understanding of this conflict from a technical and military point of view, as well as from a human and social perspective.
