What to expect
The Monnaie de Paris is the national monetary institution of France. A public establishment of an industrial and commercial nature since 2007, it carries out the sovereign mission of manufacturing the French national currency. Created on June 25, 864 under the reign of Charles II by the Edict of Pîtres, it is one of the oldest companies in the world and the oldest French institution still in activity.
