What to expect
The Jacquemar André Museum was formerly the residence of André and his wife, it is now a museum. The museum belongs to the Baroque style and was founded in 1869. The museum's collection includes classics of the French Academy of the 18th century, important works of the Italian Renaissance and representative works of Flemish and Dutch painters of the 17th century. The collection also includes classic masterpieces by Rembrandt, Botticelli and Chardin. At the same time, the luxurious and elegant atmosphere and environment make visitors feel like they are in the prosperous Paris of the Second Empire.
