What to expect

The Château de Rambouillet is a historic and culturally significant castle that has undergone several expansions and renovations, becoming a vacation retreat for French nobility and royalty. Known for its elegant architectural style and rich history, it was once the summer residence of King Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette, as well as the home of Napoleon I and later French President Charles de Gaulle. The castle features many attractions worth visiting, such as beautifully decorated rooms. Surrounded by vast forests and beautiful gardens, it offers a variety of outdoor activities, including walking, cycling, and boating. Visitors can enjoy the natural scenery while experiencing the depth of history and cultural charm.
