What to expect
Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, located in Chimelong International Ocean Resort, is one of the world's largest ocean-themed parks. The park is divided into eight themed zones, featuring rare marine animal exhibits, thrilling rides, three major theater performances, as well as global cuisine and shopping experiences—an unforgettable adventure not to be missed.
Eight themed areas
The entrance pathway features a manta ray design, with large screens overhead continuously displaying underwater world creatures - this is the first zone called Ocean Avenue. Flanking Ocean Avenue are souvenir shops, making this area primarily for welcoming guests, sightseeing, and leisure shopping.
After passing through the Ocean Boulevard entrance, the area on the left features three sections from south to north: Walrus Mountain, Colorful World, and Polar Adventure. Walrus Mountain is water-themed, home to South American sea lions and South African fur seals, and offers thrilling rides like the Wave Sailing Boat and Super Rapids. Colorful World is a family-friendly zone within the park, perfect for parents and children to explore together. Polar Adventure showcases icy landscapes, where visitors can spot adorable penguins, polar bears, and beluga whales.
To the right of Ocean Avenue, the areas from south to north are Dolphin Cove and Rainforest Adventure. As the name suggests, Dolphin Cove focuses on dolphin viewing. Rainforest Adventure features some of the park's most thrilling rides, including the Parrot Roller Coaster, which climbs nearly 20 stories high before plunging down at high speed. Aligned with Ocean Avenue's central axis are Hengqin Sea and Ocean Wonders. The Hengqin Sea area hosts musical fountain shows and evening fireworks displays. Ocean Wonders is a massive whale shark exhibit housing many rare fish species.

The entire theme park features various attractions and marine animals in different zones, with maps available at the entrance. Recommended highlights include the Penguin Exhibit in Polar Adventure, the Whale Shark Aquarium in Ocean Wonders, and the roller coaster in Rainforest Adventure.
