Rice Paddy Trek: This trek will take you down to one of the many streams falling from Gunung BatuKaru. Winding your way down a rural path to a singular rice field, nestled within a valley, with the volcano towering above it.
Mount Batukaru Rainforest Trek: Hike BatuKaru National Park rain-forest on Bali's second highest volcano and discover the original forest that once covered all of Bali. Look for the birds and butterflies (including the world's largest, the Atlas Moth), and marvel at the Strangler Vines that devour huge trees. From within the temple you can, if you choose, wind your way down a long staircase (400m) to a sacred grotto where the most important ceremonies take place.
