What to expect
Former Residence of Li Shutong is located at No. 62, Liangdian Street, Hebei District. It is a courtyard house. This Qing Dynasty building with the shape of “Tian” is divided into two parts, the north and the south. It has a garden and western-style “foreign study” for Li Shutong rests and learns to draw and receive visitors. The courtyard has a verandah and a small garden. The interior is exquisitely furnished and the environment is elegant. The reconstructed former residence garden landscape consists of Taihu stone rockery, artificial lake, memorial pavilion and pavilion, without losing its exquisiteness.
