What to expect
The Melbourne Maritime Museum - home of the Maritime Museum, vividly illustrates the difficult voyage from New Zealand to England. You can learn about where the sailors slept and observe how the ship sailed, which records the history of many sailing eras. There is also a lot of great vintage marine equipment and cleverly renovated cabins. The film that takes place on the voyage in 1904 is very moving and worth a visit.
