About this experience
Turtle Canyon is a shallow reef a short sail from Waikiki where green sea turtles gather to be cleaned by reef fish — a natural service station that brings them back day after day and makes sightings reliable in a way that wild encounters rarely are.
The catamaran anchors above the coral, the crew fit gear and run through the briefing, and then you are floating over a reef in warm, clear water. Turtles graze below and rise past you to breathe; parrotfish, butterflyfish and tang move across the coral heads, and the visibility is usually excellent.
Flotation aids and in-water guides mean confidence is not a requirement, and the sail itself is worth the trip — Diamond Head off the stern, the Waikiki hotel line along the shore, and occasionally spinner dolphins keeping company alongside the hulls.

What to expect
Located in Honolulu, Hawaii, Diamond Head is an extinct volcano and a symbol of Hawaii. It is like a Wolong lying not far from Waikiki Beach, from which you can overlook Diamond Head Mountain. The ideal way to get a better view of Diamond Head is on foot. It only takes about 10 minutes to drive from Waikiki Beach to the parking lot at the foot of the mountain. This hiking trail has a history of 100 years. At the beginning, it was a cement section, which was relatively stable, and the middle section was a dirt road, which was difficult to walk. There are many people climbing the mountain, and the trails built along the mountain are basically tourists who come to climb the mountain. There are lush vegetation on both sides of the trail, and when you walk halfway up the mountain, you can see the Pacific Ocean in the distance. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can see the entire Honolulu city in 360 degrees, and you can also overlook the endless blue Pacific Ocean and the beautiful arc of Waikiki Beach not far away. From another angle, you can see the whole crater, and the parking lot is in it. While looking at the beautiful scenery at the top of the mountain, you can also see that people continue to climb on the trails that have been walked before.
