What to expect
The Museum of Illusions in Los Angeles is a 3D wonderland full of magic and mystery, inviting visitors to enter a space beyond imagination. Here, visitors can explore more than 30 specially themed exhibits, including an experience like being in an African safari, interaction with dragons, and various optical illusion artworks. Most of the exhibits in the museum are based on optical illusion art from the 1960s, such as optical illusion turntables, optical illusion canvases, and distorted space, which use visual afterimages, pattern changes, and perspective principles to create dazzling effects. Other exhibits will use the principle of mirror reflection, such as Unlimited space, bottomless pits, and kaleidoscopes, providing visitors with a rich visual experience. There are also exhibits that deceive the senses through space, such as the trapezoidal Eames room, the giant chair, and the tilted house, allowing visitors to feel the changes in body size and the distortion of space during exploration. The Museum of Illusions is not only a place for viewing, but also a space for interaction and socializing. The museum encourages visitors to take photos in various exhibits and interactive sessions to record these wonderful moments. In addition, the museum also provides brain-burning interactive games, allowing visitors to enjoy the surprises brought by illusions while exploring the scientific principles behind them. Through these interactive experiences, visitors can gain a deeper understanding of the knowledge behind optical illusions and hallucinations, and inspire deep thinking.
