About this experience

Compact enough to cover comfortably in an afternoon, this SeaWorld water park has one attraction that nowhere else in Texas can offer. Stingray Falls sends your raft through darkness and out into a grotto where rays and tropical fish swim behind glass on both sides of you.

Around it sit the bigger thrills — Walhalla Wave and HooRoo Run for four-person rafts, Taumata Racer for head-first mat racing, and a set of tube and body slides — along with a wave pool that switches between gentle swell and something more energetic.

Two rivers circle the site for drifting, and shallow zones at Walkabout Waters and Kata's Kookaburra Cove give small children slides and fountains of their own. Palms and sand give the whole park a resort feel rather than a municipal one.

What to expect

Aquatica Orlando is a vibrant and adventurous destination that has been attracting visitors from around the world since its opening on March 1, 2008. As a sister park to SeaWorld Orlando and Discovery Cove, Aquatica Orlando is themed around the South Pacific, featuring animal mascots from Australia and New Zealand, such as Roa the kiwi, Kata the kookaburra, and Wai the dolphin. These mascots not only enhance the park's fun atmosphere but also provide visitors with an exotic experience.

Aquatica Orlando offers a variety of attractions suitable for different ages and swimming abilities, including multiple slides, wave pools, and lazy rivers. One of the most popular attractions is the Reef Plunge, where visitors can slide through an enclosed tube that passes through a pool containing Commerson's dolphins, offering a thrilling close encounter with marine life. Ihu's Breakaway Falls is perfect for thrill-seekers, featuring three drop slides and one speed slide, with a height of approximately 80 feet, providing an adrenaline-pumping experience.

For families, the park offers several multi-person raft slides, such as Walhalla Wave and Ray Rush, which are uniquely designed for 2 to 4 riders to enjoy together. Roa's Rapids is a faster, more challenging lazy river with geysers and speed zones, while Loggerhead Lane is a traditional lazy river that passes through an exhibit of cichlids and dolphins, ideal for relaxation and sightseeing.

The park's two wave pools, Cutback Cove and Big Surf Shores, provide ideal spots for wave enthusiasts.
