What to expect
Battery Park is located at the southern tip of Manhattan, so stop here before taking the ferry to Liberty Island and Ellis Island. The park is filled with ancient forts, monuments to veterans and bronze statues of immigrants, as well as circular objects burned in 9/11. The yachts and sailboats on the shore of the park are neatly arranged, forming a beautiful landscape.
